Summer Workshop- Drawing Still Lives
Where: White Cat Studio
When: 8-12 (8-9 optional Open Studio time)
Date: M-F June 3-7
Cost: $120
Ages 7 & up
Drawing Still Lives
Students will learn or review the basics of drawing from observation. The class will be modified to meet every students level and need. Still Life objects to draw will be available or students may bring their own objects from home.
We will be using pencils, pens, markers, oil pastels, chaulk pastels, charcoal and watercolor to paint and build skills to enable students to hone their skills and become better observers of the world around them.
This class is taught by Jody Jaques local art educator and artist of 25 years with a MA in Art Education
An Open Studio option will be available from 8-9 as well. You can sign up for the afternoon wool felting class from 1-4 and they can bring a lunch to the studio from 12-1.

Summer Workshop- Wool Felting
Where: White Cat Studio
When: 1-4
Date: M-F June 3-7
Cost: $160
Ages 7 & up
Dry and Wet Wool Felting
Students will learn processes and vocabulary of wool felt. Most of the products from this workshop are purchased from the local Woolery on the East Side of Frankfort. We will learn the processes of wet and dry felting creating ornaments, small and large baskets, and lots of little creatures. Please remember all materials are included and purchased locally at the Woolery.
Students will enjoy creating 3 D creations from a material that has been used for thousands of years.

Summer Workshop- Handbuilding Animals and Mugs Ceramics
When: 8-12 (8-9 is an Optional Open Studio)
Date: M-F June 10-14
Cost: $160
Ages 7 & up

Handbuilding Animals and Mugs
Students will learn processes and vocabulary of ceramics by producing their own handbuilt wares. We will start with pinch pot animals of all sizes and shapes. Then we will continue to build our skills with slab built mugs. As with all of my classes all levels are welcome and projects will be modified by skill and knowledge levels. Please remember all materials and firing of ceramics is included in the price.

You can sign up for the afternoon class offered by the White Cat Studio Landscapes and Mixed Media Painting from 1-4. An Open Studio time will be offered in the morning from 8-9 as well.

Summer Workshop-Landscape and Mixed Media Painting
Where: White Cat Studio
When: 1-4
Date: M-F June 10-14
Cost: $140
Ages 7 and up
Landscape and Mixed Media Painting
Students will learn drawing skills, how to break down images, differences between realistic and abstract, and work with tons of media. I plan on using watercolor, acrylic paint, oil pastels, magazine, printmaking, tissue paper, found objects and more. My classes are skill based and students will build on prior knowledge and be challenged at their current levels.

You can sign up for the morning Clay Animals and Mug Handbuilding class from 9-12 and they can bring a lunch to the studio from 12-1. We will also be offering an Open Studio time from 8-9. Please contact me if you are signing up for both classes for a coupon.

Tumbled Stained Glass Mosaic
When: You can choose
Where: White Cat Studio in downtown Frankfort
Cost: $15 for a 6*6 mosaic on wood (with holes drilled to hang and painted)
$30 for a 12" *12"mosaic on wood (with holes drilled to hang and painted)
$ 60- you bring window(assuming about 4 sq. feet of space) Can work as a group project
$10 more if you need me to supply and clean the window
Outdoor Drawing Workshop at Cove Spring
When: you can choose
Where: Cove Spring Lower unless raining and we will meet at upper Cove Spring under the pavillion.
Cost: $20 supplies included
Art Classes- for anyone- I vary my classes for age, ability, and prior experience. You may choose subject and media Classes may be a bit more expensive with more expensive materials.
